| dc.description.abstract | Study on the trajectory of the bookseller Raimundo Jinkings and Bookstore Jinkings during the Military Dictatorship in Belém. In virtue of this historic moment in Brazil, came the question in gabout the sale of books considered subversive and the services offered by Jinkings Bookstore. We performed a literature search on the topic, including the history of the book, the dissemination of information, the trade in books, the Military Dictatorship and the Marxist Ideology. Interview was conducted with Isa Jinkings, the wife of the bookseller, and his sons, Álvaro and Leila Jinkings. From the literature review and interviews, found the importance of Jinkings bookseller on the political scenein the history of Pará, as well as the literary contribution of Jinkings Bookstore, which served as subsidies in the intellectual formation of Pará as Benedito Nunes, Ruy Barata, Haroldo Maranhão, among others. | dc.description.resumo | Estudo sobre a trajetória do livreiro Raimundo Jinkings e da Livraria Jinkings durante a Ditadura Militar em Belém. Em virtude desse momento histórico no Brasil, surgiu o questionamento a respeito da venda de livros considerados subversivos e dos serviços oferecidos pela Livraria Jinkings. Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema, incluindo a história do livro, a disseminação da informação, o comércio de livros, a Ditadura Militar e a Ideologia Marxista. Foi realizada entrevista com Isa Jinkings, a esposa do livreiro, e com seus filhos: Álvaro e Leila Jinkings. A partir da revisão bibliográfica e das entrevistas, constatou-se a importância do livreiro Jinkings no cenário político da história do Pará, bem como a contribuição literária da Livraria Jinkings, que serviu de subsídios na formação intelectual de paraenses como Benedito Nunes, Ruy Barata, Haroldo Maranhão, dentre outros. Diante disso, faz-se necessário ressaltar o legado cultural deixado por Raimundo Jinkings através de seu estabelecimento comercial, a Livraria Jinkings. | pt_BR |
