| dc.description.abstract | This article, resulting from an undergraduate final thesis, presents didactic-pedagogical propositions concerning the voices and discourses present in the universal literary classic Animal Farm by George Orwell (1945), with regard to the teaching of literature and its possibilities of application in high school classes in public schools in the Amazon, within their sociocultural and linguistic diversity. With a focus on fostering critical readers of their own realities, this work reflects on literary reading practices through the lens of Discourse Analysis, aiming at a materialist examination of relations of power and domination, articulated with students’ everyday realities and traversed by markers such as gender, race, and class. In this sense, the research follows qualitative and interpretive theoretical-methodological orientations, grounded in bibliographic review and discursive analysis of selected excerpts from the work, articulating aspects of the critical and enunciative layers of the fable genre. The choice of this theme proves fundamental in light of the precarious conditions of teaching and learning literary texts in public schools. The proposed pedagogical approach, based on this work, enables the development of a critical and political formation through engaged reading, in the face of the allegories of the book, which figuratively represent everyday realities and situations within the school space-time. | |
| dc.description.resumo | Este artigo, decorrente de um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, apresenta proposições didático-pedagógicas acerca das vozes e discursos presentes no clássico literário universal A Revolução dos Bichos, de George Orwell (1945), no que tange ao ensino de literatura e suas possibilidades de aplicação em turmas do Ensino Médio de escolas públicas na Amazônia, em sua diversidade sociocultural e linguística. Com enfoque na formação de leitores críticos sobre suas realidades, este trabalho reflete nas práticas de leitura literária a partir da Análise do Discurso, com vista a uma análise materialista das relações de poder e dominação, articuladas às realidades cotidianas do alunado, atravessadas por marcadores como gênero, raça e classe. Neste sentido, a pesquisa segue orientações teórico-metodológicas de natureza qualitativa e interpretativa, fundamentadas em revisão bibliográfica e análise discursiva de trechos selecionados da obra, articulando aspectos das camadas críticas e enunciativas do gênero fábula. A escolha por essa temática revela-se fundamental diante da precariedade do ensino-aprendizagem de textos literários em escolas públicas. A abordagem pedagógica proposta, com base nesta obra, oportuniza o desenvolvimento de uma formação crítica e política por meio de uma leitura engajada, frente às alegorias da obra, que representam, de forma figurada, realidades e situações cotidianas no espaço-tempo escolar. | |
