Mulheres morae(i)s uma tríade da justiça cega, surda e muda: performance como (re) corte da violência geracional contra o feminino

Abstract

This summary presents an academic performance study that involves real stories of three women from the same family in different generations. I am dealing with generational violence. My interest in art linked to performance and in talking about women made invisible by domestic violence developed and became concrete throughout my academic studies. This interest began in one of the first subjects of my undergraduate degree in theater, through subjects linked to performance art until it became a final project. In the performance course, I had the opportunity to meet theorists who worked with performance concepts, among them Richard Schecner, an author who gave me the theoretical basis for other research that would subsequently follow the same line of research. I began to develop my research on violence against women, and I sought out even more women who preceded my generation, and it is about this generational violence that I include my maternal grandmother, my mother and myself, women who were physically and psychologically abused by their partners for some time, which I will report and present in my final project using performance resources and studies. The work includes a broad study of performance art and authors who will guide me throughout the writing and acting process of the final course work, putting into practice the experiences of these three women who were raped by their partners. I explore this artistic manifestation as a tool to provoke reflections, the work consists of raising awareness among women and men about violence against women in its various aspects.
