| dc.description.abstract | The following monograph seeks to use the literature “Olho de Boto” (2015) as a historical source to understand how the novel addresses the issue of homoeroticism in the Amazon during the period of civil-military dictatorship. The plot of the story represented by the marriage that took place between the two characters of the narrative, Inajá and Inajacy, in 1967 in the interior of the Amazon rainforest, is seen in the investigation of this study as a viable way to understand how the State governed by the military in the context used of the repressive force to prevent the homosexual union and the sexualities of Amazonian subjects who considered themselves as “homosexual”. For this, the guiding concepts used for the elaboration of ideas of the work correspond to the one of “Representation” developed by Roger Chartier (1990) and the one of “Homoerotismo” discussed by Jurandir Freire Costa (1992). The methodology developed corresponded to the descriptions present in the literature that present the reading community about the homoerotic marriage carried out in the late 1960s in the Amazon, highlighting mainly the constitution of the characters' romance and the reaction on the part of the conservative society directly mirrored. by the region's civil-military dictatorship regime. In this sense, as a result of the work, it was noticed that the work approaches the theme from a language of defense of freedom and love, while also showing the repression committed by the military against homoaffectives of the period, this being more an authoritarian face of the Brazilian dictatorial regime. | dc.description.resumo | A seguinte monografia busca utilizar-se da literatura “Olho de Boto” (2015) como fonte histórica para o entendimento sobre de que forma o romance aborda a questão do homoerotismo na Amazônia durante o período de ditadura civil militar. O enredo da história representado pelo casamento ocorrido entre os dois personagens da narrativa, Inajá e Inajacy, em 1967 no interior da floresta amazônica, é encarado na investigação desse estudo como um caminho viabilizador para o entendimento de como o Estado governado pelos militares no contexto usaram da força repressora para impedir a união homoafetiva e as sexualidades de sujeitos amazônidas que consideravam-se como “homossexuais”. Para isso, os conceitos norteadores utilizados para a elaboração de ideias do trabalho correspondem pelo de “Representação” desenvolvido por Roger Chartier (1990) e o de “Homoerotismo” discutido por Jurandir Freire Costa (1992). A metodologia desenvolvida correspondeu às próprias descrições presentes na literatura que dão conta de apresentar a comunidade leitora acerca do casamento homoerótico realizado em fins da década de 1960 na Amazônia, destacando principalmente a constituição do romance das personagens e a reação por parte da sociedade conservadora espelhada diretamente pelo regime de ditadura civil militar da região. Nesse sentido, como resultado do trabalho, percebeu-se que a obra aborda a temática a partir de uma linguagem de defesa da liberdade e do amor, ao passo em que também mostra a repressão cometida pelos militares contra os homoafetivos do período, sendo essa mais uma face autoritária do regime ditatorial brasileiro. O romance ajudou a entender, portanto, não apenas o debate sobre a temática, mas acima de tudo a complexidade desse mundo. | en |
