| dc.description.abstract | The present study present a case study carried out in a primary class of a public school in Breves/PA (Brazil). We consider the importance of the study of teaching strategical methodologies that include the use of Virtual Learning Objects (VLO) because the technology is increasingly present in people's daily lives, drawing new realities, including the school routine. Thus, partnerships were established between the researcher and teachers and students of the local elementary school Miguel Bitar to assess whether the use of VLOs are efficient to increase interest in learning (make learning more attractive and fun). The results showed that the use of VLO contributed to the teaching and learning science by increasing motivation (increasing interest) and making learning an easier process by making the concepts representation more dynamic and interactive and thus, contributing to the understanding of concepts, processes and phenomena. The majority of the students believed that the use of VLOs could help them, since it contributed positively with their performances in the school exams. However, in order to the use of VLOs become a routine in school, structural investments and training courses for teachers are needed. | |
| dc.description.resumo | O presente trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso realizado em uma turma de ensino fundamental de uma escola pública no município de Breves-Pa. Considerando que a tecnologia está cada dia mais presente no cotidiano das pessoas, desenhando novas realidades, incluindo a rotina escolar, se pensou na importância de estudar estratégias metodologicas de ensino que incluem o uso de Objetos Virtuais de Aprendizagem. Neste sentido, foram formadas parcerias envolvendo a Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Miguel Bitar (professor e alunos) e o pesquisador, para avaliar se a inserção de O.V.As são recursos eficientes, que geram interesse em aprender de forma mais atraente e divertida. O resultado da pesquisa mostrou que o uso de O.V.As contribui pra os processos de ensino e aprendizagem em ciências aumentanto a motivação (desperta o interesse) e facilitando a aprendizagem ao permitir formas dinâmicas/interativas de representação do conhecimento que contribuem para compreensão de conceitos, processos e fenômenos. Observou-se que a maioria dos alunos acreditam que com o uso de O.V.As podem auxiliá-los, contribuindo positivamente em seus rendimentos nos exames escolares aumentando suas notas. Porém, para que essa condição vire uma prática rotineira, é necessário que haja investimento estrutural e em cursos de capacitação dos professores. | |
