| dc.description.abstract | The Historic Center constitutes an important part of the history of Belém; however, an ongoing cycle of degradation and loss of character can be observed, along with the underutilization of the available infrastructure. At the same time, housing proves to be an important tool for maintaining urban vitality, although dignified housing conditions remain an unresolved issue. Therefore, this study aims to develop a proposal, at the level of an architectural preliminary design, focused on Social Interest Housing (HIS), on a site located near the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of the Black Men, in the Campina neighborhood. The research adopts a qualitative approach, with historical, comparative, and functionalist procedures, seeking to understand the changes that have occurred over time in the Campina neighborhood, to build a repertoire of architectural interventions for HIS in historic centers, and to analyze the feasibility of inserting the architectural project based on legal, environmental, and social constraints | |
| dc.description.resumo | O Centro Histórico constitui uma parte importante da história belenense, entretanto, percebe-se um ciclo de degradação e descaracterização em andamento, com subutilização da infraestrutura disponível. Ao mesmo tempo, a moradia demonstra-se como importante ferramenta para a manutenção e vitalidade urbanas, embora a dignidade domiciliar ainda seja problema irresoluto. Por isso, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver uma proposta, em nível de anteprojeto arquitetônico, voltada à Habitação de Interesse Social (HIS) em um lote próximo a Igreja do Rosário dos Homens Pretos, no Bairro da Campina. A pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa com procedimento histórico, comparativo e funcionalista, buscando compreender as mudanças ocorridas ao longo do tempo no bairro da Campina, construir um repertório de intervenções arquitetônicas para HIS em centros históricos e analisar a viabilidade de inserção do projeto arquitetônico a partir dos condicionantes legais, ambientais e sociais. | |
