| dc.description.abstract | This work consists of a study on the lexicon referring to birds known to the Tembé-Tenetehára people, inhabitants of the village of Sede, located in the Guamá region, in the Alto Rio Guamá Indigenous Territory, in the state of Pará, with the aim of collaborating as support material for teaching the Tembé indigenous language. The work began with a survey of the lexicon referring to birds, in partnership with the community, considering the importance of these animals in the cosmology and cultural practices of the Tembé people. Thus, this lexical survey, conducted through bibliographic and field research, resulted in the creation of an illustrated book aimed at children, with the aim of assisting in the teaching of the Tembé language. Theoretically, it is based on authors such as Biderman (1996), Krieger (2006), Isquerdo (2020), among others, as well as Rodrigues (1985;1986), Boudin (1966), Silva (2010) on the Tembé language; Wagley and Galvão (1961) and Gomes (2020) for understanding Tenetehára history and culture. | dc.description.resumo | Este trabalho consiste em um estudo sobre o léxico referente a aves conhecidas pelo povo Tembé-Tenetehára, habitante da aldeia Sede, localizada na região do Guamá, na Terra Indígena Alto Rio Guamá, no estado do Pará, com o intuito de colaborar com material de apoio ao ensino da língua indígena Tembé. O trabalho partiu de um levantamento do léxico referente às aves em dicionário da língua Tembé e pesquisa de campo com falantes dessa língua, bem como com professores de língua indígena, considerando a importância desses animais na cosmologia e nas práticas culturais do povo Tembé. O estudo fundamenta-se, teoricamente, na Lexicologia e na Terminologia por meio de autores como Biderman (1996), Krieger (2006), Isquerdo (2020), assim como nos trabalhos de Rodrigues (1985; 1986), Boudin (1966), Silva (2010) sobre a língua Tembé; Wagley e Galvão (1961) e Gomes (2020) contribuem para o entendimento da história e cultura Tenetehára. Esse estudo busca contribuir para o processo de expansão e fortalecimento da língua e cultura Tembé-Tenetehára por meio da criação de material de apoio que auxilie no ensino da língua, dada a escassez já manifesta pelos indígenas Tembé-Tenetehára participantes deste trabalho.
