| dc.description.abstract | This paper works with the theme of Bibliotherapy developed in hospitals, considering that the field of therapeutic reading is still a subject rarely explored by professionals in the area. The research consisted in gathering and studying the concepts of hospital bibliotherapy, recognizing the benefits caused by the use of literature as a therapeutic activity that assists in conventional medical treatment, identifying the contribution of the librarian as a bibliotherapist and presenting bibliotherapeutic projects in Brazil and the United Kingdom , analyzing the details of the activities that are developed in each project and pointing out the methodology that they use to develop the bibliotherapy either in hospital units, shelters, resocialization units or school environments. Through the Brapci database, scientific articles were retrieved to support the work, gathering ideas from the main authors of the area, gathering the information obtained to elaborate this bibliographical and documentary research, identifying factors that have relevant features such as mediation of reading; stimulus to the habit of reading; encouragement to the debate and participation of the librarian as transforming agent. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.resumo | Este trabalho aborda o tema da biblioterapia desenvolvida em hospitais, tendo em vista que o ramo da leitura terapêutica ainda é um assunto pouco explorado pelos profissionais da área. A pesquisa se constitui em reunir e estudar os conceitos de biblioterapia hospitalar reconhecendo os benefícios causados por meio do uso da literatura como atividade terapêutica que auxilia no tratamento médico convencional, identificar a contribuição do bibliotecário como biblioterapêuta e apresentar projetos biblioterapêuticos no Brasil e no Reino Unido, analisando os detalhes das atividades que são desenvolvidas em cada projeto e apontando a metodologia que utilizam para desenvolver a biblioterapia seja em unidades hospitalares, abrigos, unidades de ressocialização ou ambientes escolares. Através da base de dados BRAPCI, foram recuperados artigos científicos que serviram para fundamentar o trabalho, reunindo ideias dos principais autores da área, reunindo as informações obtidas para elaborar esta pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, identificando fatores os quais possu em características pertinentes como a mediação da leitura; estímulo ao hábito da leitura; encorajamento ao debate e participação do bibliotecário como agente transformador. | pt_BR |
