dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to show a way of working so that we can have competent students in reading and so that they can understand what they read. In addition, it shows students that reading can transform the way they see and live in an increasingly competitive and demanding society, indicating that reading can make us travel and know places without leaving our own place. In this paper, we present a didactic sequence on the sub gender myth, which was performed at the Municipal School of Basic Education Industrial District in the Barcarena municipality, where we will show how to lead our students to understand the characteristics of the myth and to understand what they read, besides taking them to the production of a myth of knowledge of themselves, to prove that reading is not simply decoding letters, but rather, it is associated with the knowledge that students already have and the experiences they already had.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoEste trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar uma alternativa para que possamos ter alunos competentes na leitura e para que estes compreendam o que lêem. Além de mostrar aos alunos que a leitura pode transformar o modo de ver e viver numa sociedade cada vez mais competitiva e exigente, demonstrando que a leitura pode nos fazer viajar e conhecer lugares sem sair do lugar. Neste artigo apresentamos uma sequência didática sobre o subgênero mito, que foi executada numa Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental 5º ano, Bairro Industrial do município de Barcarena, mostraremos como levar nossos alunos a entender as características do mito e compreender o que lêem, além de levá-los a produção de um mito de conhecimento deles, para comprovar que ler, não é simplesmente decodificar letras, e sim, que está associado ao conhecimento que os alunos já possuem e as vivências que já tiveram.pt_BR
