Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/6822This article is the result of the Course Completion Work, organized in accordance with normative Instruction nº 01/2023 PROEG/UFPA, which provides in an exceptional and temporary way the academic guidelines for the standardization and carrying out of theactivities of the Course Completion Work– TCC , making its form of preparation, presentation and defense more flexible, due to the consequences arising from the COVID-19 pandemic; as regards art. 4th, paragraph I, which concerns the preparation of a scientific article. This study originated in the extension project Corpo e Ludicidade: jokes in education, a proposition from the Faculty of Dance at UFPA and sought to analyze the methodological process used in the workshops held in the project, as well as understanding how each location and audience received and experienced dance and its various possibilities. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach focusing on field research, the research instruments used were observation, photographic records, conversation circles and informal conversations. The photographic records taken during the workshops constitute the main axis of analysis for understanding how dance can be creative, affectionate, and necessary for different bodies and professionals. The workshops took place in the municipalities that make up the Metropolitan Region of Belém-RMB, in the state of Pará, they are: Belém, Ananindeua, Marituba, Benevides and Santa Bárbara do Pará. Theoretical support focuses on studies by Mundim (2021), Andrade (2012), Marques (2009, 2010) and RCNEI (BRASIL, 1998). The results of the study showed that dance and playfulness together create significant possibilities for education and for the professionals who work in it.
