The Re-ciclo platform emerges as an accessible and efficient solution to promote proper management of these wastes, which have been growing significantly in volume due to rapid technological advancement. Through an interactive system, the application enables the registration of companies and centres, location mapping, scheduling of collections, and tracking of requests, in addition to providing metrics and rankings that encourage user participation and engagement. The system implementation prioritized usability, security, and scalability, using technologies such as React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. Re-ciclo not only facilitates the reverse logistics of WEEE, but also serves as an educational tool, bringing the community closer to sustainable practices.
