Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5217The Marine Extractive Reserve of Soure / RESEX-MAR, is a Federal Conservation Unit that houses traditional families, which have a strong relationship with nature characterizing their way of life and their culture. In this sense the central objective of this work is to analyze how environmental education has been worked in the Municipal School of Early Childhood and Primary Education "Santa Luzia", located in RESEX, seeking to understand how teachers work with environmental issues in the classroom with students and present a proposal for intervention. The research was developed in a qualitative way, in order to seek results from the bibliographic analysis of authors who discuss the work under study, along with a descriptive exploratory analysis and data collection and the application of an intervention workshop. We used as a tool the use of a questionnaire applied to the teachers of the school institution, conducted visits that provided opportunities for formal and informal conversations with the teaching staff and the direction and as the main driver the "Management Plan of the Marine Extractive Reserve of Soure - PA", conducted by the Chico Mendes Institute of Biodiversity, in July 2018. During the visits and field studies it was possible to verify that the E. M. E. I. F.
