Methods: This is a descriptive and cross-sectional epidemiological study, with a quantitative approach, carried out by collecting secondary data on confirmed cases of TG and TC in residents of the states that make up LA, Brazil, between 2020 and 2024. Confirmed cases, year of diagnosis, state of residence, evolution, diagnostic criteria, age group, schooling, gestational age and incidence rates were investigated. Results: During the period analyzed, 7998 cases of TG and 1781 cases of TC were confirmed in LA. Cases of the diseases have gradually increased over the years. In most LA states, the incidence rates of TG and TC were higher than the national rate. In addition, the pregnant women most affected by TG were between 20 and 39 years old, with completed high school, in the second trimester of pregnancy. Most of the cases were confirmed by laboratory tests and progressed to cure. Conclusion: The study revealed that TG and CT represent an important public health problem in LA.Acesso AbertoEpidemiologiaGestantesNotificação de doençasToxoplasmoseToxoplasmose congênitaEpidemiologyPregnant womenNotification of diseasesToxoplasmosisCongenital toxoplasmosisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::MEDICINA::CLINICA MEDICA::GINECOLOGIA E OBSTETRICIAToxoplasmose gestacional e congênita na amazônia legal durante o período de 2020 a 2024: uma análise epidemiológicaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo
