This disease is a zoonotic that can affects 16 and 18 million people in Latin America and has been affecting more and more people in different parts of the world. The present research is based on the qualitative approach in the case-study modality. The case-study was made for the survey of laboratory diagnosed cases of Chagas' disease treated in the municipality of Breves, Archipelago of Marajó, State of Para, Brazil, in the 2010 to 2016 years. A bibliographic research was conducted on electronic websites, books and documents of the Brazilian Ministry of Public Health. As well as the information on the quantitative cases of disease was taken of in the Department of Health and in the Health Surveillance sector of the municipality of Breves. The quantitative data was applied and interpreted by constructing spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and reorganized into in Microsoft Word. Data analysis show us an high numbers of cases of Chagas' disease cases in the municipality of Breves and region, particularly because this population is a large consumer of the açaí pulp, especially beaten. The vector of Chagas disease can be beaten by unhygienic manipulation. We understand, therefore, that it’s a need to fiscalization and more committed to health education.
