This obstruction is progressive and is related to abnormal inflammatory response of the lungs to inhaled particles and / or toxic gases, especially cigarette smoke. The pulmonary rehabilitation process of these patients involves multidisciplinary team. The occupational therapist is one of the professionals who make up this team, however, there is little evidence described in the literature about the contributions of occupational therapy. Thus, this research aims to verify the consequences of intervention of Occupational Therapy in patients with COPD. Thus, a single case experimental study with 02 patients referred by professionals will be developed. First, history will be performed and initial assessment in order to obtain the occupational profile thereof. In addition, they will be used as evaluation tools the Barthel Index and Scale of Lawton and Brody. Then, the sessions were developed occupational therapy according to demand patients. Through informal protocols and conversations, there was a significant improvement in occupational performance of patients after the intervention of Occupational Therapy.
