Therefore, this stage of life is considered crucial to determine the dietary patterns that will be followed during adulthood. Therefore, knowing the dietary patterns that are being shaped by our Brazilian adolescents is extremely important. Taking into account that these habits and patterns may positively or negatively influence the emergence of future diseases. This research was elaborated with the intention of contributing to the debate on the quality of food of riverside adolescents, with emphasis on the municipality of Moju, in the state of Pará. Its main objective was to evaluate whether there are possible dietary patterns of risk for the emergence of chronic noncommunicable diseases NCDs) among the adolescents interviewed. In this context, the research focused on the dietary pattern followed by these adolescents. With a higher focus, four food groups were considered as foods that help for protection (fruits and vegetables) and two groups with foods considered at risk (sweet and salty) for the emergence of NCDs. For this, we analyzed the eating habits of 50 adolescents aged between 12 and 19 years, residents of the rural area of the municipality of Moju, through food frequency questionnaires. Of the four food groups compared, the one with the lowest degree of consumption was the group of vegetables and vegetables, followed by fruits, sweets and snacks, respectively. Demonstrating that the consumption of foods considered at risk for NCDs outweighs the consumption of foods considered protective factors. Characterizing the eating habits of these riverside adolescents as at risk for the development of NCDs.Acesso AbertoAdolescentes ribeirinhosHábitos alimentaresDoenças crônicas não transmissíveisRiverside teensEating habitsChronic noncommunicable diseasesCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::NUTRIÇÃOAnálise dos hábitos alimentares e o risco para surgimento de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis em estudantes ribeirinhos de Moju/Pa.Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
