The research highlights the significance of photography as a tool for recording and valuing collective memory, offering a deeper understanding of the relationship between the quilombolas, their land, and their traditions. Through images, the study reveals how cassava cultivation, artisanal flour production, and other aspects of daily life serve as forms of resistance and reaffirmation of quilombola identity.
