Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10264This study stems from the reflections prompted by my experience as a classical ballerina, which, when confronted with the insights fostered by a degree in dance education, allowed me to develop a methodological proposal based on the introductory principles of classical ballet. Through this proposal, I present technical codes taught from a playful and sensitive perspective that respects children’s learning conditions. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the perspectives of didactic approaches to teaching classical dance, outline the main characteristics of classical ballet, foster critical reflections on the recurrent teaching methodologies in classical ballet, and present a playful teaching experience grounded in the principles of classical dance. The research methodology follows a participant-researcher perspective, characterized by description, exploration, and intervention. Knowledge production draws from a literature review, affective memory, photographs, as well as the creation and analysis of lesson plans. This work is organized into four chapters: the first, titled “Grand Jumps: A Brief Journey into Classical Dance,” is supported by the ideas of Faro (1987), Loureiro (2007), Rodrigues (2015), Caminada (1999), Vaganova (1934, translated by Ana Silva and Silvério, 2019), Ferreira (2012), Caminada and Aragão (2006), Freire (1987), and Langendonck (2006); the second, named “Playfulness as a Methodological Tool,” is supported by the ideas of Freire (1987), D'Ávila (2022), Piaget (1986), and Andrade (2012); finally, the last chapter, titled “Teaching Ballet through a Playful and Sensitive Perspective,” is grounded in experience and presents the results of an experiment conducted with students from Usina da Paz/Bengui.Acesso AbertoBalletEnsino - aprendizagemLudicidade e prática pedagógicaTeaching and learningPlayfulness and pedagogical practiceCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTES::DANCAO ensino do ballet clássico por uma perspectica lúdica e sensívelTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution 3.0 Brazil
