Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8625The growing deforestation and burning in the Breves holes has been causing significant damage to the vegetation, which can lead to the disappearance of plant species, especially ferns and lycophytes found in the region. Thus, the present study aimed to make the floristic survey of ferns and lycophytes occurring in the microregion of Breves holes, more precisely in the Terra Grande Pracuúba Extractive Reserve, State of Pará. The collections occurred randomly during the period between the 29th. from April to May 3, 2019, in Rio Mutuacá, Communities Santa Fe and Boa Fe and in Rio Guajará, Community Nazareth and owned by Mr. Adiel Souza Baia. The identification of botanical material was performed by a specialist in these plant groups. The circumscription of families and genera, following the PPG I and the species nomenclature and abbreviation of the authors, were based on the Flora do Brasil 2020 site, under construction. Seventy species were registered in the studied area, distributed in 31 genera and 19 families. Of these, two are lycophytes: Lycopodiaceae and Selaginellaceae. The fern families with the largest number of species were Pteridaceae (11 spp.), Followed by Hymenophyllaceae and Dryopteridaceae (9 spp. Each), and Polypodiaceae (8 spp.). Regarding life form, epiphytes (32 spp.) Were predominant, followed by terrestrial (27 spp.) And hemiepiphytes (7 spp.). The environment with the largest predominance of species was within the terra firme forest (38 spp.). This reinforces the importance of the floristic survey and the preservation of the Conservation Units, aiming at increasing knowledge about the seedless vascular plants of RESEX Terra Grande Pracuúba.Acesso AbertoUnidade de ConservaçãoSamambaias e LicófitasFuros de BrevesConservation unitsFerns and LycophytesFuros of BrevesCNPQ::CIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS::BOTANICA::FISIOLOGIA VEGETAL::ECOFISIOLOGIA VEGETALPlantas vasculares sem sementes da Resex Terra Grande Pracuúba, Estado do Pará, BrasilTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
