In response to the existing demand in the municipality of Belém, which currently has only three centers specialized in rehabilitation, this architectural proposal is imperative. The proposal endeavors to integrate accessibility, sustainability, environmental comfort, and vernacular elements of Belém’s architecture, while also exploring treatment methodologies that humanize the therapeutic environment, thereby encouraging the recovery process. Furthermore, the center will feature a research and studies division focused on the health sector, with the objective of facilitating the development of new treatments and therapeutic alternatives. Strategically located in the Mangueirão district, the center aims to support this region of the city, alleviate the demand on other centers, and enhance accessibility to treatment.
