Orientador: João Almiro Corrêa Soares. Coorientador: Alberto Leandro de Melo.2013. 99 f. Trabalho de Curso (Bacharelado em Geologia) - Faculdade de Geologia, Instituto de Geociências, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém, 2013. Disponível em: https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2116. Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2116The study region is inserted between the Amazon craton and the Araguaia belt (basement rocks) and is formed by metamorphic and igneous rocks that have been little studied in this region. This work aims at the integration of multisource spatial data (Landsat-TM, SAR, Aero-geophysics) for geological studies of the region between Maraba Eldorado from Carajas. Such integration, in an environment of Geographic Information System, enabled the recognition and geological remapping of part of Leaf Maraba. For the generation of integrated products (Aero-geophysics and remote sensing) were performed pre-processing on multisource data, processing and interpretation, then the field phase. By photointerpretation of integrated products, along with field data and previous work, it was possible to discriminate regional structures and seven lithological units: Cajazeira Complex (Middlearchean), Rio Novo Group (Latearchean), Tapirapé Formation (Late archean), CoutoMagalhaes Formation (Neoproterozoic), Serra Grande group (Paleozoic), Barriers Formation (Cenozoic) and alluvial deposits (Cenozoic). As a final product of this work was obtained 1:150,000 scale geological map for the area between Maraba and Eldorado from Carajás.
