The relevance of teaching materials used in the 1970s will be discussed, and for this discussion the book by José Jobson by A. Arruda, “História Moderna e Contemporânea” (1977), was used as the main source, with bibliographies of other Brazilian authors also being used. that discuss the teaching of history in a period of authoritarian regime.
