Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9133In this article we expose the experiences in the Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education carried out in a municipal daycare center in Altamira – PA, with activities involving setting up, planning and conducting classes with children aged one year and eleven months. The objective was to investigate the didactic limitations that impede playful materiality in children's education based on the understanding that playfulness is a broad process that contributes to the integral development of being a child, problematizing the question: what are the difficulties faced by teachers in using playfulness in daycare? Because I realized during the immersion in the field that there was little use of games and games in the daily lives of children and existing ones, I noticed limitations regarding the diversification of use, influencing the playful practice as a methodological strategy. The methodology used was participatory research, which showed the following results: teachers recognize the importance of playfulness in the education of young children, but recognize that they have difficulties in creating environments that encourage playing in an engaging and creative way. However, there is a daily frequency of children's songs that seek to meet the objectives proposed in the planning of classes and the fields of experiences, articulating motor movements and exploration of the space/time of the daycare center.
