The precipitation estimates from satellite images, due to its excellent spatial and temporal coverage, it can present itself as the sole source of rainfall data representative of a particular area. This study aimed to propose a comparison of data to arrive at a final product quality, and might perhaps say that the method is suitable for studying certain locality and thus try to draw a profile of precipitation.The results of this study will show that precipitation in GPI method, were pretty well accepted when compared to the automatic station.
