However, its implementation is limited mainly due to the lack of specialized teacher training and the scarcity of adequate teaching materials. This study aims to analyze the use of the History of Mathematics in teaching logarithms, exploring its applicability, the challenges associated with its implementation, and its impact on student learning. To achieve this, a qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory research was carried out using questionnaires applied to mathematics teachers in Castanhal, PA, along with the development of a lesson plan that integrates the historical approach into the teaching of logarithms.
