In view of this, the question arose as to how the use of educational games, as an active methodological proposal, could make this process more accessible, dynamic, and meaningful. This study aimed to present proposals for didactic materials as a strategy for higher education, with the purpose of improving the teaching of Number Theory and enhancing learning. The games "Euclid's Bingorithm" and "Race of Maximums and Minimums" were applied, followed by evaluation questionnaires administered to undergraduate Mathematics students. The qualitative analysis of the data, based on the identification of patterns, indicated that the games contributed to a more participatory learning process, favoring the understanding of concepts. The students highlighted the potential of the proposal for other disciplines, evidencing the importance of active methodologies in the construction of more meaningful higher education.Acesso AbertoEnsino superiorTeoria dos NúmerosMetodologias ativasHigher EducationNumber TheoryActive MethodologiesCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRAMetodologias ativas no ensino superior: explorando estratégias no ensino da teoria dos númerosTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
