Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4382The main objective of this work was to analyze how the teaching of Zoology is being worked on for high school students in public schools in the municipality of Bragança, state of Pará. This is qualitative research. Considering the pandemic of the new coronavirus, we chose to use the Google Forms platform, to apply questionnaires to teachers who worked in high school, with objective and subjective questions. In addition, we use content analysis for data analysis. Among the main results of the research, it was noted that the biggest problem pointed out by the participating teachers was the lack of infrastructure and teaching resources in schools, such as good quality laboratories and zoological collections for practical classes. A portion of the teachers pointed out that the didactic resource provided by the government for teachers to use in their practical and theoretical classes is the textbook, however it does not meet all the students' needs.
