This research is based on studies that discuss the phenomenon of bullying, especially the contributions of Fante (2005), Lopes Neto (2005), and Silva (2010), who analyze the manifestations of this violence in schools and the emotional and social impacts caused to victims. This Course Completion Work aims to identify how schools in the municipality of Acará/PA have developed actions to prevent and combat bullying in the school context. The research is based on a qualitative approach and is characterized as field research. For data collection, a semi-structured interview was used as the instrument, having three teachers from the investigated institution as participants. The results showed that, although the teachers recognize the occurrence of bullying, especially in its verbal and symbolic manifestations, the researched school does not have systematized institutional projects aimed at preventing and combating this practice. The identified actions occur in a punctual and reactive manner, usually through guidance and dialogues carried out by teachers when specific situations arise.
