Among the species used for such use, select it in the species Peperomia pellucida. Within the Peperomia genus, P. pellucida is one of the most studied plants due to its applications in folk medicine, its wide distribution, chemical production and biological potential. Taking into account these facts, this study used High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (CCDAE) for simultaneous analysis of extracts of the aerial parts of Peperomia pellucida to verify the chemical profile of the species. The collection, cleaning and maceration of botanical material took place at the Natural Sciences Laboratory of the Federal University of Pará, Marajó-Breves University Campus. The methods of obtaining, preparation and treatment of extracts, as well as the revelation of the chromatographic plates, were carried ou at the Central Extraction Laboratory of UFPA Campus of Guamá. Unable to perform isocratic analysis of extracts due to malfunctioning of one of the equipment. The results obtained through the revelations shown in the presence of terpenes, steroids and phenolic compounds in the extracts of P. pellucida, besides signs showing the presence of flavonoids. In the verification of antioxidant activity, the results were negative. This is related to conditions under which P. pellucida extraction was performed, such as a low amount of mass used for extract production. Therefore, studies of this nature are necessary because chemical information of plants, especially the type of medicinal, is important, considering the therapeutic effects provided by these types of vegetables, such as P. pellucida.
