Sport influences society in many ways, and if its practice is encouraged, it can bring countless physical, social and economic benefits. This research presented a theoretical and practical survey bringing references from projects related to the topic under analysis as a basis for presenting an architectural preliminary project for a Sports Training Center. Through the search, presentation and analysis of collected data, the project aims to analyze the brief history of sports in Brazil, learn about the sports facilities present in the national territory, list the sports covered by the Training Center, analyze local sports centers, national and international studies through case studies and prepare the architectural preliminary design of the Sports Training Center.
