The pelvic floor muscles play a role in preventing pelvic organ descent. Tissue changes cause an increase in tension in the vaginal wall support system, contributing significantly to the descent of Organs pelvic organs. Therefore, the need for studies that can build the beneficial influence of conservative treatment on pelvic organ prolapse. Objective: to verify the influence of pelvic physiotherapy in the prolapse of pelvic organs Methods: This is a systematic review of a randomized controlled clinical trial. The searches were performed in the PubMed, SciELO, PEDro and MEDLINE databases. Clinical trials published between 2011 and 2020 in English, Spanish and Portuguese were included, review articles, articles that addressed surgical treatment or physiotherapy as an adjunct to surgical treatment, studies in animals and articles published in event. Results: 11 scientific articles were included according to the eligibility criteria. The data demonstrated that conservative treatment was beneficial for the treatment of clinical needs presented by patients. However, more research is needed with higher levels of scientific evidence. Conclusion: Conservative treatment has been shown to be efficient mainly in terms of symptoms, providing a perception of improved health and quality of life for patients.Acesso AbertoProlapso pélvicoSaúde da mulherFisioterapiaCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FISIOTERAPIA E TERAPIA OCUPACIONALAtuação da fisioterapia pélvica nos prolapsos de órgãos pélvicos: uma revisão sistemáticaPerformance of pelvic physiotherapy in pelvic organ prolapses: a systematic reviewTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo
