Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9905This study addresses Health Education in the school context, focusing on the actions developed by the Health in School Program (PSE) at the Claudina Farias Municipal Early Childhood Education School, in Bragança, Pará. The research aimed to analyze the educational practices developed by the PSE team from the Vila Sinhá II Basic Health Unit (UBS) and their contributions to students’ quality of life. The investigation was guided by the following research question: how are nonformal educational practices configured by the PSE team of the UBS Vila Sinhá II, considering their contributions to the quality of life of children at E.M.E.I. Claudina Farias in Bragança-Pará? To answer this question, a qualitative research approach was adopted, using bibliographic study, observation, semi-structured interviews, and field diaries, with the participation of a nurse, a pedagogical coordinator, and a teacher involved in the Program’s actions. The results show that PSE actions contribute to building knowledge about health, developing healthy habits, and improving students’ quality of life.
