Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7860Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential for the good prognosis of out-of-hospital pediatric Cardiorespiratory Arrest (CPA) and must be widely disseminated to the civilian population as a way to minimize injuries and avoid deaths. Therefore, Extension Projects aimed at teaching the management of pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are effective in fulfilling this role. Objectives: To analyze the effectiveness of knowledge sharing promoted by extension projects aimed at Pediatric CPR for the population in the Municipality of Belém in the period from 2021 to 2023. Methodology: Cross-sectional, retrospective and observational analytical study, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. The data collected through questionnaires passed before and after the actions of the extension projects covered by the study were analyzed. Results: The characteristics of the participating patients were predominantly female, aged 20- 29 years old and professionals in the field of education. Questions regarding the emergency service contact number, correct sequence for performing CPR and what is the main form of CRP in children were some of those that showed a statistically significant increase after the training was answered.
