Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10441The irregular disposal of solid waste is one of the main environmental challenges in urban areas, contributing to the degradation of public spaces, the proliferation of disease vectors, and negative impacts on population quality of life. In this context, the present study aims to analyze the occurrence of irregular solid waste disposal on the Ananindeua Campus of the Federal University of Pará and its surroundings, using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) survey and field visits to support spatial analysis. This research is characterized as applied, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, developed through bibliographic review, field observations, and the acquisition of aerial images for the identification of affected areas. The collected data allowed the location of the main irregular disposal points, enabling the development of a situational diagnosis and the understanding of the spatial distribution of waste in the studied area. Based on this diagnosis, a network of social spaces distributed along the campus perimeter and connected by trails to a central square is proposed. The results highlight the importance of environmental monitoring combined with remote sensing technologies as support for environmental management and decision-making processes.
