Its refining process requires robust machinery and, consequently, a powerful and reliable electrical system to supply both the operational and administrative areas. Although the refinery's Electrical Maintenance Management is well structured and maintains the equipment with a high level of efficiency, it still faces challenges in controlling the stock of spare parts for emergency use. In this context, the Kanban system proves to be an agile, economical and easy-to-apply tool, capable of optimizing the control and reduction of inventories, through the visual organization of inventory levels. Its implementation facilitates the daily routine of electrical maintenance, without compromising the safety of equipment and people. This work presents an adaptation of Kanban to Alunorte's Electrical Maintenance Management, which enabled the creation of an inventory of emergency spares and optimized the flow of equipment removal through the use of information cards.
