Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/6317This study aimed to carry out a comparative analysis between the quality of the digital terrain model – DEM generated through the processing of ALOS PALSAR and SRTM images, in addition to cartographic representing and modeling of the surface of the southern sector of the municipality of Colares, State of Pará, Brazil. For that, GIS Arcgis 10.5.1 was used as image processing platform, as well as the finalization of the layout of the results. These were compared before and after carrying out radiometric correction of both. In addition to evaluating the results between the processing of the two images, correlated with the geomorphological data of the area, produced by Barbosa (2007), aiming to infer the discrepancy between the achieved and actual values, given the impossibility to carry out a more accurate field survey.
