Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4580The undergraduate course in medical science requires intense dedication from the student and has several stressors that are individually and subjectively apprehended. Studies point out as the main sources of stress, the loss of personal freedom, excessive academic pressure, dehumanization, lack of time for leisure and socializing with family and friends, competition, among other. There can be several physical effects resulting from this stress, such as chronic musculoskeletal disorders, low self-esteem, anxiety or depression. In this way, the quality of life of medical students at the Federal University of Pará, Altamira campus. This is an exploratory cross-sectional study whose methodological proposal was research with a quantitative approach, with descriptive analysis. An instrument to assess quality of life was used in the research: WHOQOL-bref, developed by the World Health Organization. The collection was made through the online form Google Forms and the analysis was done through the Software Biostat 5.0 and Microsoft Excel 2019. Among the results obtained are predominantly male, single and aged between 21 and 25 years. Among the questionnaires applied, we can observe that the first curricular year has the worst quality of life score and the fifty year has the best score.
