Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9011This article analyzes the tradition of the Perna Family Litany, located in the municipality of Abaetetuba, Pará, understood as an expression of faith and collective memory. This qualitative, ethnographic research aims to understand the meanings attributed to the practice of the Litany as an educational practice and a symbol of recognition. Based on the life story of one of the festival's organizers, the relevance of this tradition for the appreciation of local culture, identity construction, and educational processes that transcend the school environment is highlighted.
