Based on the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), which guides teaching, the research makes a critical analysis of textbooks published between 2020 and 2024, identifying how these materials address the role of women, and includes an interview with Professor Alcides Junior, who reflects on the possibilities of reformulating the teaching of women's history. The study reveals that they are often portrayed in a stereotypical way or their contributions are neglected.
