Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8164This study aims to emphasize a Territory surrounded by threats, seeking to focus on the impacts that Avenida Liberdade has caused, is causing and will cause to it, aiming at the total discomfort for such an enterprise, emphasizing the environmental impacts of imaginary magnitude that will cover this region, and noting the impacts that the Quilombola Territory of Abacatal has suffered, is suffering and will suffer with the construction of the Avenida Liberdade enterprise, an enterprise that came about arbitrarily and without due knowledge of the community most affected by the works before, during and after this construction. The research was carried out through a mixed approach, qualitative and quantitative, with bibliographic and field research. The results point to deforestation, risks, erosion, pollution of streams, springs, fauna and flora, among other future problems. It is concluded that the Quilombola community of Abacatal did not have free prior consultation and was not informed, thus disrespecting and ignoring the Prior Consultation Protocol.
