Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9324This study aims to verify the conditions of the infodigital literacy process of students at the Faculty of Archival Science (FAARQ) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). This research is part of studies on digital literacy that began during the Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) period at this university in 2020. This case study used the following sources for its investigation: (1) previous case studies on technological literacy in archival science colleges; (2) analysis of documents on the institutional strategy of UFPA, the Institute of Applied Social Sciences Applied Social Sciences (ICSA), which hosts FAARQ, and the faculty itself; (3) semi-structured interviews with students who experienced ERE during the COVID-19 pandemic; and (4) the results of questionnaires administered in 2020 at FAARQ. It was observed that UFPA's institutional documents, at their different levels, do not emphasize practical learning activities in the use of digital technologies. The interviews revealed a lack of infrastructure and study areas with access to computers and stable internet. It was also detected that the interviewees felt insecure when discussing concepts in the field and had little experience in the use of digital infrastructure applied to archives. It was concluded that there is an immediate need to provide digital infrastructure and computer labs for the training of archivists.
