This character accessed the public of Pará through two channels, namely: the newspaper “Diário do Pará”, column “Os búzios respond” and the radio program “A Hora do Axé”. Through these vehicles he presented the power that his religious belief exerted on the loving-sentimental mental structures of those hopeless in the face of “lost” loves. Contact between consultants and consultants occurred through correspondence sent to the latter, which were responded to through the aforementioned periodical. In effect, the present interpretation consists of the logic that taking refuge under the resources of the religious in question occurred at a time when the consultants had exhausted any and all so-called traditional resources thought capable of establishing rapprochements with the loved subject, from one perspective; but, on the other hand, the article establishes the position that the paths presented by the afro-religionist would not be effective if psychological aspects remained on the margins of the “magic” envisioned to solve romantic misunderstandings. In view of this, the documents used to prepare these purposes were: Articles published in the newspaper “Diário do Pará” and excerpts from an interview given by the religious to the author of these reflectionsAcesso AbertoReligiãoReligiosidadeSimpatiaAmorPsíquicoReligionReligiositySympathyPsychicCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::HISTORIA“Os búzios respondem”: simpatias e mirongas (Belém-PA, 1985-1997)Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
