Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/2596This work of conclusion of the Course of Pedagogy of the Universidade Federal do Pará - Plano de Ações Articuladas Formação de Professores da Educação Básica- PARFOR,has as its title Reading and Writing: a brief reflection on the knowledge required for the pedagogical work of a teacher proposed as a general objective: to reflect on what knowledge the teacher needs to know so that the process develops the literacy and literacy of their children. And as specific objectives: a) To understand from the bibliographic studies factors contribute to the difficulties of appropriation of reading and writing in the initial years of Elementary School; b) identify the strategies that may hinder the teaching of reading and writing in the initial years according to the bibliography studied; c) to reflect on the factors that contribute to the difficulty of reading and writing learning of elementary school students, based on the bibliography studied. A qualitative bibliographical research was developed.
