Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8210The effectiveness of oil and gas production depends on the characteristics ofthe formationdrilled, the fluids produced and the well capacity, this well productivity can be improved with stimulations that aim to increase the permeability of the zones near the well. Well acidizing is one of thestimulation methods that aim to increase this productivity, when applied in carbonate formations it tendsto dissolve the matrix of minerals and cross damages by creating channels known as wormholes. Although acidization in different types of carbonates has similar injection parameters, the success of stimulation may depend on the type of carbonate in the formation and on how these parameters influencethe dissolution of that mineral. This work aimsto analyze the influence of reservoir temperature on acidinjection rate in calcite and dolomite formations, to observe how changing this parameter affects different carbonate types. For thispurpose, a detailed mathematical analysis of the main parameters influencing the optimum acid injection rate was performed. The results showedthat with the increase in temperature, aswell as in permeability, the optimal acid injection velocity is increased. However, the variationon optimal velocity of the dolomite was higher than calcite.
