Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8091It is shown that the application of Theorems on Gaussian Curvature and Mean Curvature of implicit surfaces, such as the Cylindrical Semi-Cycloidal surface, is a simpler and more efficient process than those used in a Differential Geometry (DG) course.. The work aimed to present these theorems and apply them to solving the calculation of the curvatures of implicit surfaces, such as: the Cone, the Ellipsoid and the Cylindrical Semi-Cycloid. In addition, it is also shown the calculation of the systems of differential equations of the geodesics of surfaces with this characteristics.
