Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9892This research is justified by the need to answer the following question: What are the roles of the pedagogue at the Child and Adolescent Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS i) in Bragança/PA? In general terms, the study aimed to analyze the roles of the pedagogue at the CAPS i in Bragança-Pará, considering the specific contributions of this professional in the reception and monitoring of children and adolescents in their socio-emotional development. Specifically, the research objectives were configured as follows: to characterize the CAPS i in its legal, historical, and functional aspects; to identify the actions developed by the pedagogue at the CAPS i in Bragança/PA; and to perceive the pedagogical elements that permeate the activities of the pedagogue at the CAPS i. The methodology used in the research is a qualitative approach, with research techniques including bibliographic studies, semi-structured interviews with three pedagogues working at the institution, and document analysis. The results reveal that the role of the pedagogue in the articulation between health and education is essential in the humanized psychosocial care model advocated by the Psychiatric Reform.
