The research analyzes the challenges faced by teachers in incorporating content about the history of Bragança-PA into pedagogical practices, mainly due to the lack of teaching materials and the limited appreciation of heritage education within the school curriculum. Based on observations carried out during supervised internships in public schools in the municipality, the study identified the absence or limitation of content related to local historical and cultural heritage.
