Screening and development monitoring DNPM is of paramount importance, as it assists in the detection of possible injuries in the development and monitors the child's developmental milestones, as well as the relationship with risk factors. This research aimed to investigate the relationship between the quality of the family environment, the biopsychosocial characteristics of the child and family and the neuropsychomotor development of children in an Education Unit Children's (UEI). In this sense, the research was carried out with 19 children from a UEI in municipality of Belém do Pará, through evaluation instruments such as Test Denver II, from the Child Characteristics Questionnaire (QCC), Critério Brasil, Family Poverty Index (IPF) and Affordances in the Home questionnaire Environment for Motor Development Infant Scale (AHEND). In the QCC, the variables that showed statistical significance were married parents (p=0.03), profession of father (p=0.05) and monthly income (p=0.02). With regard to the family environment, variables such as: poor external space, few materials for fine and gross motor skills, as well how the variety of unsatisfactory stimuli also influenced the development suspected of delay.
