The research identifies four morphological periods: the first, from 1938 to 1970, marked by the extractive economy and the adaptation of the urban fabric to the rivers; the second, from 1971 to 1996, characterized by regional integration and the expansion of the Cidade Nova, Nova Marabá, and Morada Nova nuclei, driven by public policies, road infrastructure, and the Carajás Project; the third, from 1997 to 2011, defined by intensified migration and industrialization, with peripheral expansion and the emergence of irregular urban fringes; and the fourth, from 2012 to the present, marked by the consolidation of housing complexes built under the Minha Casa, Minha Vida (PMCMV) program alongside private real estate developments, resulting in a fragmented and orthogonal pattern in public housing and a radiocentric pattern in planned neighborhoods. The results reveal differentiated patterns of accessibility and urban integration, highlighting areas of higher or lower global accessibility, particularly those within gated communities or housing estates, in relation to the urban network.
