Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/726The present study aims to characterize the profile of enrollees who enrolled in the course of Libras at UFPA-Castanhal in the year 2016. The study presents a quantitative-qualitative approach, the questionnaire used by the project was used as data collection technique for registration. Therefore, this study was based on the registration form for the course, the course aimed at students of university institutions in the city of Castanhal (PA). The results indicate that the majority of the enrolled students are the most outstanding undergraduate courses, most of them being from the Pedagogy and Physical Education course, this fact becomes clear when we know that these two courses present students and deaf teachers inside of their courses. Another important factor was the students of some courses that are not of the area of the degree. In this way, the importance of the diffusion of the sign language within the universities is verified, since the deaf subjects pass through all sectors and spaces that constitutes the UFPA-Castanhal, in this way it seeks to offer inclusion, whereas we live in an inclusive context.Acesso AbertoInclusão socialLíngua brasileira de sinaisDireitos sociaisUniversidade Federal do Pará.
